Out of the Woods:
Navigating Lyme disease with Fascia Alchemy
Via Zoom | Tuesday August 25, 2pm-3:30pm
Lyme doesn't just live in your bloodstream — it lives in your fascia, in the tissue that wraps every muscle, every joint, every breath you take.
You've done the antibiotics, the supplements, the elimination diets, the endless research at 2am. But no one ever showed you how to work with your body. You don't need another protocol. You need a way back to yourself, guided by someone who understands both the anatomy of fascia and the exhaustion of chronic illness.
This Is For You If:
You've been diagnosed with Lyme disease (or are navigating post-treatment recovery) and you're looking for a gentle, body-based practice to add to your care
You feel disconnected from your body — like it became something happening to you instead of something you live in
You're tired of passive treatment and want a practice you can actually do, with your own hands, at home
You've tried massage or bodywork before and felt something shift, but couldn't afford to keep going or couldn't find a practitioner who understood Lyme
You want tools for the flare-up days and the good days — something sustainable, not another burnout-inducing wellness routine
This class is a complement to your medical care, not a replacement for it. It's designed to work alongside your treatment — not instead of it.
What's Included:
Out of the Woods is a live, guided class held over Zoom, where you'll learn hands-on fascia release techniques designed specifically for the kind of full-body tension, brain fog, and nervous system dysregulation that so often comes with Lyme disease. You'll leave with:
A live, guided self-treatment session you can follow in real time, from your own couch or bedroom floor
Fascia release techniques targeted at the areas Lyme patients most often carry tension — jaw, neck, low back, hips
Nervous system regulation tools you can use during flare-ups, not just during "good" days
A recording of the session, so you can return to it whenever your body needs it
A simple take-home guide outlining each technique, so you're not relying on memory alone
Space to ask questions in real time — from someone who understands both fascia and what it's like to live in a body that Lyme has changed
Untreated tension doesn't just sit quietly in the body—it compounds. The longer fascia stays restricted, the more it pulls on everything around it: your posture, your breath, your sleep, your pain levels, your basic human functions. Without a practice to release that pattern, you're left managing symptoms from the outside in, forever chasing relief instead of building it. This class isn't a cure, it is a tool you'll have forever. One you can return to on the hard days, one that puts a piece of your healing back into your own hands.
My Story:
I was in kindergarten when the school nurse found a tick inside my ear. We were living in Connecticut, the place this disease was named for; and none of us knew yet what that small, dark speck would mean for the rest of my life.
Lyme runs in my family like a second bloodline. My father had it too, I remember him as the toughest man I've ever known—the kind of man who broke his nose playing hockey and finished the game anyway. But I also remember watching that same man doubled over in agony from Lyme joint pain, brought to his knees by something no hit on the ice ever could.
For years, it went quiet in me, the blessing of modern antibiotics when used in early infection is not lost on me. But the long haul symptoms can fester and grow, silently, until last year it came back all at once. The neck stiffness returned first. Then three months of insomnia. A red rash spreading across my face. Eyes bloodshot. A fatigue so heavy I could barely lift my own arms. And then — Bell's palsy. Half my face, still.
That was the moment I decided something had to change. Not just another prescription, not just another specialist. I needed to meet my body where it actually lived — in the tissue, in the fascia, in the parts of me that had been quietly bracing since I was four years old. I started meditating. I started treating my own fascia, day after day, with my own hands. And slowly, I found my way back.
This class is what I wish someone had handed me decades ago. It's not a promise that your story will look exactly like mine — everyone's Lyme journey is its own. But it is proof that the body can be worked with, not just against. That healing isn't only found in the next test result — sometimes it's found in your own two hands.
Meet the teacher:
Hi, I'm Soule, I'm from the Northwest Corner of Connecticut, home state of Lyme disease. I've carried this illness since I was four years old, long before I had language for what my body was holding, my tissue already knew.
I'm a massage therapist and Fascia Alchemist™️ with a Virgo stellium in the 7th house, which is a fancy way of saying I was built to foster intimate relationships within the home, and for helping bodies find their most organized, embodied vitality. I've spent years tending to the body as sacred ground through massage/bodywork, ecstatic dance, yoga, and reverential space-holding, all in devotion to the wisdom held in our tissue and our cycles.
But it was my own body that taught me the deepest version of this work—that healing isn't only found in the next test result. Sometimes it's found in your own two hands, in the fascia, in the parts of us that have been quietly bracing for years. I believe connecting with our bodies is a practice—an art we can cultivate at home, in community, across every season we move through, including the seasons this illness asks of us.
I take deep care to hold safe, grounded space for everyone I work with — space to co-create something that lingers in the waters of your fascia for years to come, long after the moment has passed. This work is personal for me. I'm not guiding you through something I've only studied. I'm guiding you through something I live.
Your body moves in seasons, just like the one you're standing in now. What are you tending? What's ready to be honored?
Let's walk this season together — my guidance, your open heart. That's where the magic starts.
What folks are saying…
Soule is incredibly talented and very knowledgeable about the body and pain management. She truly understands how to target problem areas and provide lasting relief. In addition, her presence alone fosters a safe environment, allowing you to let your guard down and relax. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and professional massage therapist.

Soule taught me about fascia, its relationship with our muscles and the whole body and the importance of body work. I have some arthritis and stenosis in my lower back. At times this can be quite painful and uncomfortable, especially when I’m not being mindful of how I use my body or taking care of myself. With a big ski trip to Europe planned, I was really worried that I wouldn’t be able to manage because of the pain that I was in. I had an amazing Fascia Alchemy Treatment with Soule and it was an absolute game changer! I went from hardly being able to tolerate sitting to being quite comfortable on the long plane ride and having a fantastic week of skiing in the Alps! Thank you Kayla Soule!
The best massage I have ever had. Soule, has a powerful ability to cleanse her clients sensory system and set a relaxing environment for even the most sensitive people. I’ve booked several massages from her now, and each time has genuinely improved my life after as I was able to feel and see more clearly. I’ve tried many different routes to healing the physical, but this has by far made the biggest impact. I highly suggest her work — just let her intuitively choose what is best for you and I can guarantee it won’t be a regret. Grateful always, thank you for the work you do Soule.

None at all. Everything is taught step by step, and you can go at your own pace — this is designed for beginners as much as for people who've done bodywork before

No. This class is a complementary self-care practice, not a medical treatment, and it isn't a substitute for care from your doctor or Lyme-literate practitioner. Please continue working with your care team.

Come as you are. Several of the techniques can be done seated or lying down, and you're always welcome to simply witness the class and try what feels accessible that day.

No special equipment required — just your own hands and a comfortable space to sit or lie down. If you have a massage ball or tennis ball on hand, you're welcome to use it, but it's optional.

Fascia release can feel intense in places where tissue is restricted, but it should never be sharply painful. You'll be taught how to work within your own edge, not push past it.
