Hello Manchester Vermont!
Travel can be tough on the body—especially these days. Hours on the road, caffeine-fueled drives, Bluetooth connections buzzing in the car, and the endless hauling of luggage can leave you feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation.
At Souleful Practices, you’ll find the reset your body has been craving. Cozy up on organic cotton sheets while Licensed Massage Therapist Kayla Soule guides your body back into balance with fascial alchemy release, cupping therapy, and PNF stretching for that stubborn low back tension. Our negative-ion crystal grid table warmer adds a layer of grounding energy to counter the effects of travel and non-native EMFs.
Every detail has been designed with care, so you can melt into the treatment table, restore your body, and then float out the door to enjoy the shops, mountains, and charm of beautiful Manchester, Vermont.
Last week I romped about town, popping into the local inns, and imagining a song from the La-Las playing in the background as I dropped off brochures and chatted with the inn keepers.
I also mused at how amazing inns are to our histories. Not long ago, I listened The Madonna Secret by Sophie Strand. The story follows Mary Magdalene and her brother Lazarus making a pilgrimage to find John the Baptist at the Jordan River. They stay at inns and commune with the other nomads, sharing wine and stories while bunking on floors with strangers along the way.
Imagine, the first apostles staying in establishments not too different from the historic Barrows House in Dorset VT? I am awed at the innately human quality of exploration and making vision quests.
You can transform your vacation into a retreat into the Self, by booking a massage or fascial bodywork session. Experience the joy tangled up in your muscular tissue, tap into your inner world with the help of herbal oils, detox and let go of what’s left with cupping.
